Genealogy of Ephraim

²⁰ Ephraim’s descendants included Shuthelah, his son Bered, his son Tahath, his son Eleadah, his son Tahath, ²¹ his son Zabad, his son Shuthelah, his son Ezer, and Elead. The people of Gath, who were native to the land, killed them when^[a] they came down to raid their cattle. ²² So their father Ephraim mourned many days, and his relatives came to comfort him.
